# Where Do I Find my Agent Log File?

There may be times when the support team requests the log file for the Stackify agent located on one of your servers. This log file contains information that can help with any support issues you might run into. Below are the instructions on how to locate these files for both Windows and Linux agents.

## For Windows Agents

If you have a Windows agent, the **stackify.log** files will be located in the folder where you installed Stackify. The default location is in C:\Program Files (x86)\Stackify. The files are named `stackify.log`.

## For Linux Agents

The **stackify-agent.log** files for the Linux agent will be located in the /usr/local/stackify/stackify-agent/log directory.
