Release Overview

Release Date: 6/14/2018 Improved Azure Integration: This release includes improved integration within Azure. This integration will allow users Retrace to use the Azure Rest API to determine the status of servers and services during Creation, Removal, Scale Up and Scale Down events, etc. for both Cloud Services and App Services (Functions, Web Apps, Web Jobs, etc.) The notable difference from the legacy integration prior to this release is the new authorization process that will allow Stackify Retrace to communicate with the user’s Azure account. The prior method of Azure Integration (*.publishsettings) will be deprecated at a later date as it will soon be unsupported.

New Getting Started Page: A new getting started page is intended to speed up the onboarding process of creating a trial, installing an agent, and sending in data. The new getting started guide will be more tailored towards the type of technology stack that the user will running (eg. Java vs .NET, self hosted vs Azure/AWS, etc.)

Release Enhancements

  • Improved Notification Group Settings Experience: A minor change to make setting the Reminder/Escalation intervals easier within the notification group modal

  • Improved how we handle environment names set during the agent installation as well as in the environment page of Retrace. This will prevent issues parsing certain characters while passing the environment name through a url string.

  • Improved processing of a monitor result named “Agent Health Check” where results could be delayed at times.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a bug where the “Last Error” did not match the “Occured” time on the Error Occurrences Page

  • Fixed an issue around Website checks would not return the correct metric results in certain scenarios

  • Fixed a bug where long action names were causing display issues on the APM pages

  • Fixed a bug that was preventing the Server Availability monitor to not work as designed

Known Issues
